S60 lux sidelight replacement
Hi, can someone help, I have a side lamp that needs to be replaced on the drivers side, uk car. It seems a real mission, there is a black bracket behind the headlight that is obscuring the rubber grommet to gain access to the bulb, I don’t know what this bracket is or how to remove it. It sits next to the water washer screen fluid tank and covers the grommet. Any ideas on what this is and how do I remove it please? Do I need to remove the bumper? Thanks Matt

Hello
No need to remove bumper. Look on the slam panel above the headlight. In two recesses are two prongs holding the headlight in. Yours will have hoops to pull them up with. Pull both out, remove headlight, torx bit needed to remove back cover, change the bulb Here is a useful link - https://www.volvocars.com/mt/support...nt---headlamps Just for note and no real issue, you've posted in section that's not for your car. Don't forget to include exact year and model of car. It will get you better responses. HTH Cheers Dave Last edited by 37 RUBY; Oct 25th, 2020 at 08:57. |

Yep in reality, bumper partially off to release bottom of headlight after removing bolts in slam panel... That said if you can remove the cover off the ecu's you can gain enough room to extract the cover provided you've not got hands like shovels. Cheers Dave |

you dont have to remove the bumper but it's faster to do so than trying to change two headlight bulbs. literally
