Default What type of batterys for the remote?

Hello!

I'm having a friend with a 1994, 460 which is having trouble with the remote range. It doesn't work more then 2 meters.
He is questioning if he puted the right batt in the remote.
The remote is the old style (with only one button?),with small batteries... i attached a picture.

Does anybody knows which are the correct batteries?

Thanks!

Thanks for your answer!

Well, this is the problem: he doesn't have the original batteries. He bought some new ones (which are working as i described) and he didn't kept the old batteries.

No No , thats for the factory fitted black remote with Lock / Unlock buttons

The alarm above is guard alarm One the volvo accessorie one batteries are 4 x 381 cells , Note the polarity isnt marked on the casing so take note of which way around they go before taking them out ..
