Default '99 S40-does it have Isofix?!!

I've got a horrible feeling I'm being very, very thick but how can I tell if my '99 S40 has got Isofix fittings? Yes, I've looked in the car, can't find anything I could identify as Isofix fittings. Yes, I've looked at various websites to see if I can find anything about the older S40s having them, but all the information seems really ambiguous and yes I have looked in my manual. The only vaguely relevant thing it says is that it has some fittings for car seats that comply with Australian standards but it's not clear if they're just in the Australian models or in all models to comply with Australian standards.

Am I right in thinking Isofix fittings can be put in?

If you've managed to make sense of the above and can advise me I'd be very grateful! Thanks.

The car will only have isofix fittings if they were ordered by the dealer when the car was new or have been fitted by a previous owner. Expect to pay around £80-100 to get them fiited at a dealer for both rear seats.

Thanks! I've tried the Britax site and when I type my car details in it comes up with a diagram of a car with exclamation marks on the seats saying 'if your car has isofix fitted' so doesn't actually answer my question at all!! Very annoying!
