Today is the big day! I on my way to pick up my XC60!

F A N T A S T I C is all I can say!

Easy to drive, Gadgets are all easily to understand. D5 (185) is plenty powerful... difficult to explain cos it feels slow BUT it propels itself so effortlessly down the road you do not realise the speed you are going! Must have something to do with the height and feel of the vehicle that deceives the senses! T6 must a monster!

SATNAV easy to use and very accurate - even got a traffic update within the first 5 mins of starting off on the motorway and was re-routed around it!

The colour is everything I hoped it would be - nuff said!

Power tailgate is just the mutts! So simple yet really impresses!

Dynaudio Premium Sound is VERY impressive! iPod works a treat and I can access ALL playlists tracks etc etc

Reverse camera excellent and easy to use - thought it might take some getting used to but its as easy as winking!

Ask away and I will tell!

Sounds great. My car (D5 - 205 bhp) has just arrived at the dealer..... gates closed so I can only see it tomorrow!

What colour is yours?

I have also opted for the Dynaudio and Power Tailgate (among a long list of options). Nice to hear a view of both.

I'll be bring my iPod with me... hehe :-)

you will find the engine gets better and better as you put on a few 1000 miles and will feel more powerful smoother and quieter then ... and hopefully use less fuel :-)

Its Maple Red Pearl... Suits the car very well!

Thanks for letting me know it will get better! I was thinking of a RICA tune but having just taken it out again to have a go of the 'bending' headlamps and giving it a good 'run' round the twisties I shall think a bit longer!

That's weird.... sounds like my dealer had your car on their lot.... Maple Red, black leather with Ikea wood (my name for the modern wood stuff - my choice too). Very nice in that colour.

Ny new XC60 are at the dealer waiting for its PDI. Will get it next week. Have some crappy mobile phone pics, nothing I would post here.

The wife's S40 is great. Truly a fantastic drive I think with quality to match. In my opinion, Volvo certainly got it right with the S40/V50.
