Default 17" Arcadias on eBay

Just been mooching at alloys and have seen a set of Arcadias that appear to have little in the way of corrosion but do have some scratches, they are up for £129.95 and they will deliver for £44.95.

I have just bought a single BBS 16" Crater in really good nick, delivered for £44 so I can set about getting the ones on the T4 I will be collecting this weekend refurbished.

Sorry I haven't put a link but if you're interested type in GENUINE VOLVO V40 ARCADIA 17 and you'll find it easy enough I should think.

Look to be in fairly good condition and a cracking price. If I lived near Thame and could sneak them past the wife I would be sorely tempted. Mind you, I must say that I actually prefer the design of Crators.

And there is no shame in that.

I understand bl**dy big lumps of metal held together with bl**dy big nuts and bolts and know when something is broken or not right, but, I struggle with computer technology. I think it is something to do with not being able to see what is going on in the background and understanding the process. It may also stem from the fact I was given a spanner as a teething ring.

I have promised to do a 'How to guide' for stripping a seat and refurbishing it but am waiting for my son to come home at Christmas to show me how to do the guide, he works in IT and telephony for a Footsie 100 company. At the moment I would not have a clue how to do it as I have never been shown, but, am willing to learn.

I saw the OP as being helpful and pointing anyone genuinely interested in the right direction.

I'm about the same stage with computers but have recently even started to use two fingers and a thumb to type on the keyboard so there's hope for me yet!
I did try to put a link up but struggled and doing so was getting in the way of my gin and tonic.

I thought that if someone was genuinely interested in a set for their car, they wouldn't find it too painful to look it up but I guess I may have been wrong on that score!

Aah! G&T. The spanner used as my teething ring was steeped in G&T.

Driving a Volvo and drinking G&T, all we need is a trilby on the rear parcel shelf and there will definitely be no hope for us. Care home here we come.

BTW enjoy the T4 tomorrow.

I may be more inclined to a nice straw boater.

I am laying off red wine and real ales as much as possible, love a nice cold G&T and it's much less of a fat issue, not that I'm a bloater, just trying to look after my waistline in my almost late 40's!

Really itching to get the T4 back home and looking forward to a wander around the railway museum in Swindon with my boys
