Default Alternator for 2.0T

Hi all,

In desperate need of an alternator for a 2.0T V40 (with heated seats...not sure if that makes a difference...but it may require more power).

Thanks,

Kev

Hi Kev

Seen this and your power steering post - is the car beginning to give up the ghost?

Sorry, can't help, but there always seems to be quite a few 40's in the Strensall scrapyard these days, so perhaps they could assist you?

My mum is paying to have a new one fitted, so all sorted I was going to fix it...but she was desperate to get back on the road.

Hardly, it's actually doing really well. Passed it's MOT last month with only an advisory on a track rod end...which for a car of it's age and mileage is damn good! The car is now used as my mums dog walking car, so it takes quite a lot of abuse! For what it's worth, she loves the car.

Excellent news, thanks Kev!

I was feeling a little bit sad for her, but I shall stop that now, straight away!

Cheers
