Default 850 t5 rear brake caliper

my rear drivers side brake caliper is keep siezing (sp) on, it squeaks when im driving and the wheel is warm to the touch.. Anyone know if any 850's caliper will fit on?

Yes, any rear 850 brake caliper will work.

my C70 was doing the same thing ! must be a common fault ! i squeezed the piston out completely , cleaned it up with emery paper , copper grease it and stuck it back in ! jobs a good un ! not the first volvo i've had that the calipers have ceased on ! i wonder if its cos most don't drive them hard enough !??

+1 on the above. I had a seized one on the rear on my GLT, failed the MOT here last year. Did a very similar thing to that mentioned above & it passed at the re-test.
Try it & then watch your disc 'clean-up' as a tell-tale to it working. Once done tho' it might pay to replace your pads & discs. I've yet to do mine, the seized on one has worn that disc, just about to it's limit - advisory on the pass.

I must get on and do that!

cheers for your replies, when i did my brake pads it was stiff to push back in so i think its had it now lol....could of got one free off a good lad on another site but the bleed nipple was snapped .. so im gettin one from the scrapyard today for a tenner so cant be bad
