Hi, I owe a Volvo C30 and I was looking at some Japanise import Volvo S60 and V60 with low mileage but I start reading on internet that some years are really bad with a lot of issues (" Avoid Volvo S60 Year Models 2001, 2005, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2015") I was thinking in a Volvo S60 or V60 T4 I believe they have the same engine.
What is your experience since yours is from 2012 which is in theory one of the "bad years)? Thanks!! |

Not sure who you are aiming your question to Esty ?
My car is 2011. One of the first of the S60II built. It has a few rattles and creaks when I bought it at two years old. Sorted those out. I'm not the right person to ask about later cars, I avoid anything with petrol or diesel four cylinder from Volvo 2013/4 onwards. Sadly, not many 5 cylinder diesels achieved Euro VI compliance. I can't offer any guidance regarding T4, D4 is on my avoid list.
