You can plug a climate panel straight in but the auto functions wont work.

I have a climate panel in my non-climate car at the moment because I couldnt find a non climate panel that ahd heated seats and DSA.

Is there a way to get it to work?

To the OP (and anyone else on here with a partly u/s heater control), if you post on here specifically WHAT is the problem then it's quite probable there's a suggested fix for it.

Most issues seem to relate to:

1. problem with heater speed resistor (below / behind glove box)

2. problem with pot controlling fan speed (in heater control unit)

3. problem with pot controlling temp variation (in heater control unit)

All have been covered on here (and that's how I learned to fix my u/s unit.

Default V40 phase 2 2000 2.0ES

The heater control on my 2000 V40 phase two 2.0 ES has taken on a mind of its own! It will only work on max hot or max cold, even then it might be cold on max hot setting or hot on max cold setting, on its own accord it might revert to the other temperature. Can’t find anything specific relating to this. Can anyone help please?
Cheers, sarumboy.

Just turn the knob fast left and right about 15-20 times. It should help clean the contacts a bit and work properly. If this does not work, then you might need a replacement heater control panel
