V40 2004 Roof Rails on a V40 2001?

Morning folks

Looking to acquire roof rails for V40 2001, Y reg - seem difficult to come by but found these on ebay:

for V40 2004, anyone know whether they will fit?

Otherwise, any suggestions as to how to get hold of suitable rails (& how to fit them?)

(new to forum and new to Volvo, just acquired 2001 V40 with v low mileage and good condition, loving both the forum and the motor so far)

I have a complete set that you are welcome to have foc providing you collect. I am 5 mins from junction 1 of the A14. The clips on the end caps always brake when removing, these are still available from Volvo at about £20 per set or you can use silicone sealer to secure. The rails attach by one bolt at each end and takes 10 mins to fit.

Yes, next Saturday is good for me, preferably before 1.00pm.

The rails came of my old P1 and have just sat in the garage since, it will be good to see them back on a car. I will send you a PM with my address etc.
