oil light query

In my 142, when driving normally for a while on dual carriage way and I take my foot off the accelerator and start slowing down the oil warning light comes on. Not all the time but on occasions. However I can drive round town for ages and the light never comes on. Any ideas?

Check the wiring at or around the switch. It's under the manifold and might be touching it or the exhaust, so burning through the insulation and shorting it out.

Is the oil level correct it could be surging when breaking. when was the oil and filter changed, is it the correct oil and gen Volvo filter,lastly the pressure switch and the wire connected to it as it gets hot abd burns the insulation off and can short out.
