Clearly you don't have a clue, streaming services usually have a bigger back catalogue of artists than some radio stations or shops!! Streaming has got nothing to do with what's popular or what's decided by a few executives. Streaming allows you NOT to pay for the crap tracks on an album and only to pay for the ones you like.

I'd rather pay £15 a month for a service to get access to 40 million odd tracks I can pick and choose than be forced to support artists who sell full albums with 1 or 2 decent tracks on it.

So I am clueless, and that makes you right how? Why the insult?

I agree the post was rude calling you clueless, but do you really understand what a streaming service provides?

It is the recipient who chooses what they listen to not an executive choosing what they think will earn them money. That may be the case on a radio station but not on a streaming service.

Not rude at all, clueless or do you really understand amount to the same thing. Nothing rude about it. Calling him an idiot would have been rude! I find this forum to be full of over sensitive people who take far too much to heart!

Admins can feel free to block my account as unfortunately there is no way to close it as I’ve seen more banter and good feeling at many a funeral!

I think Streaming Services still promote what they want you to listen to, especially if you set it to listen to songs of the day and genres etc.

It is all very well stating you can listen to what you want, but I never know what I want, I try to listen to different, and new music and end up listening to music I do not know and generally do not like.

I think it is a waste of money compared to listening to the radio etc.
You pay subs and band width if you do not have a decent mobile plan for the car.

Oddly enough most of the music I have not heard before and really like is music heard on TV, Adverts, Films etc. thus I download them.

Yes, I used to use Pandora and Spotify, Pandora was better expecially the ability to find different bands but the ads became more frequent.

You will only find bands on both that get picked by the executives and also agree to the pricing structure. Its why there are no Traveling Wilburys for example. There are a load of others that I like that are not on there, Bob Seger's another.

I have an extensive volume of music that is already cut to MP3. When I find someone new I buy the download or CD and add it. I can listen to it multiple times without paying a penny more.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread....

Did you manage to sort the glitching out? I'm a new Volvo owner and am experiencing exactly this issue.

There have been many Sensus Software updates in the intervening period that have resolved the previous issues with the latest Sensus update released only in Nov.

I still have the issue with my iPhone 6. However my son tried his iPhone 8 recently and that seemed fine. My phone is running latest iOS but I should ask my son what he has, as he has a habit of dragging his heels when updates are posted.

Thank you - back to the dealers then. There are a couple of other glitches I want them to look at anyway (permanently dimmed rear-view mirror being one).
