Rear bumper protection plate

I am thinking of fitting an after market rear bumper protection plate on MY21 XC60. Anyone had experience of this and can you recommend a plate. I have noticed the VOLVO one seems to be brush stainless steel and I would prefer a chrome fitment to match the other chrome fittings on the rear i.e. exhaust and reflector surrounds. Cheers Roy

We put a genuine volvo one on our V60 II and have been very happy with it.

Matches the chomework and satin roof rails just fine, without looking fussy or showing light scratches.

Same here, dealer fitted and very happy with it. I’ll post up a picture later if the OP interested? Our car is silver dawn colour if that helps.

I second the RGM one, had one on my last V60 for >100k miles, and have one on my current V60. The matte black version perfectly matches Volvo's own black parts so it looks factory.

I couldn't agree more the RGM one looks quality and part of the car. I want a chrome version to match the rear of the vehicle and I 'm not sure the brushed alloy one would match. Thank you for replying

I didn’t like the OEM one for my V90 CC, because the chrome didn’t match the car style at all. I went with an aftermarket one which is a satin powder coated stainless steel piece. It also protects the edge not just the top flat area. They also have chrome and glossy black finish if I remember correctly.
