460 and 440 for sale - spares or repairs
Hi All,
I am selling my 1996 460 1.9 ESTD and 1995 440 1.8 si for spares or repairs. Both are looking their age, but it is largely cosmetic and they are both solid afaik. They are both SORN and neither has tax nor MOT. I only stopped using the 460 about 2 weeks ago when I got a newer car. They have both been reliable and generally good runners. They both have the dreaded rear wheel arch problem. Please feel free to ask for any further information. I am looking for around £220 for the 460 and £200 for the 440, but this is negotiable within sensible limits. Thanks, Peter. |

I would have been interested in the 460 but I live in London and cant drive at the moment - it will cost more than the vehicle is worth to bring it back to london area, unless you can or know someone who can arrange delivery to myself

I forgot to say the 460 has done 184,000 miles and the 440 just under 180,000 miles. I also have towbars to fit both cars for £30 each,

You did head your post as 'spares or repairs' Did that mean you were breaking them if you couldn't sell them whole?

They will both have to be mobile enough to be loaded onto the scrap dealer's lorry, so it depends what parts you want.

Sorry if I gave you the impression that I wanted a lot, I really don't I was just after knowing whether you were going to break them or just sell them whole. Having said that, they may have the dreaded arch worm but your photo's make them look quite clean, shame to scrap but so be it.
If you do decide / have decided to break one or both, I am interested in a couple of trimmy things depending on trim colour. Such as a rear small section n/s where the parcel shelf hooks onto, a SIP's trim on o/s dfrivers door, electric aerial rear n/s and possibly some other bits. I will give it some thought but just needed to establish whether you were breaking or not. If you do, then I'll try & get some photos of the bits, cheers |

Have you decided to break either of these?
