Factory order - full specification and date information

For those awaiting a new Volvo, there has been some 'discussion' about the usefulness (or not) of My Volvo. Well, because I wanted to double check everything on my amended order, I asked my dealer for a copy of the Factory Order. It came through within a couple of hours. Very interesting. Apart from listing all the option and standard feature codes (something that has always been visible on Audi and BMW brochures - something to learn here Volvo), it details order creation, amendment, 'last date of order change', build date, factory completion date, planned date to UK port, planned delivery date. Much more comprehensive than My Volvo, and obviously the reference point for the dealer (and customer). Worth asking if you want to see the full details.

We both ordered our MY16 Xc60's loaded with our "toys" about the same time in late March. My dealer rang me on sat am to let me know its on scheduled for about 3 weeks time and he needs to start the cherished No plate transfer now- when is yours due?

Ordered 23 March. Due at the dealer 8-19 June. I have a private plate, but I can't start the transfer until we land back from our European holiday on 12 June, otherwise I will have complications with plate change-over and insurance. As long as I complete before the end of June, I expect the dealer will be OK (well I hope so).

I ordered mine on 4th March.

Yesterday morning, MyVolvo was showing 15 - 26 June.

Yesterday afternoon it changed to 8 - 19 June! Yay!

Today it's back to 15 - 26 June. Boo.

Still can't figure out why mine is later than both of yours when I ordered earlier. I know the order book was closed, etc., but the orders were still held in a queue and mine should have been ahead of yours. I'm told Volvo operate a strict queue, but that's patently not true.

Completion date will depend on spec and engine choice in particular.

Every weekend the date moves forward a week, then every Monday it goes back again.

Would love to see the programming behind this system.................

Ordered 14th march. D4 FWD Se Lux Auto with lots of toys.
My Volvo shows collection 18 - 29 May and my dealer confirms this.

Myvolvo now showing 29/6 - 10/7

I am assuming that the Myvolvo site is indicating that the others on this thread are "in production" or later?
Mine is still just "ordered"
