Default Got the 08 plate S60

I have had the car for a few days, 20min drive back from work instead of a I hour plus ride, the other day 1 hour 40 mins, who ever said the bus service in London is good. Bus drivers have now been told to keep to a 20mph speed limit. Anyway 20 mins heaven.

I have found 1 fault so far is the driver window when I push it to auto close it goes and comes down a quarter, but if I hold the switch it closes. Checked it before I took it and it worked. Maybe intermittent. I figure it must be a switch what controls it. What do you knowledgeable guys think it might be.

Everything else seems to work OK.

put your window all the way down and hold until it 'clicks', then do the same putting your window up & hold until it clicks.....do this about 3 times continously and this might fix it. Ity did with mine. The it comes back againa about 6 months later. The garage will charge you about £80 to fix it with a 'software' update, or as Fred the mechanic calls it, put the window up'n'down 3 times holding the button in......

I've heard the same advice. It's a reset/ limit relearn procedure. I read about it both here and on the Brickboard. Sooooo simple I immediately forgot about it. Kira

Tried the up and down on the switch 3 times but now when window reaches the top it goes straight back to the bottom. I will have to look for dirt in the runners. I haven't got any silicon spray right to try.

yep mine did that also....keep doing it.......
I found out that this worked by using the search function & a few people had already posted how to do it, that's how I learnt & keep learning about my volvo.

Have you checked your fuel flap yet? is it 'unlocked'....hehe......they have a timer on them, the default is 10 mins I think? mine locks after 10 seconds.....which still didn't stop me thinking it was broken. As I locked my car, I checked the fuel flap a few times immediately & assumed it wasn't working....
