Nope, evidently i didnt (face palm smiley needed)
I did think it strange that it would unlock but not lock.......

Dammit, now i got to refit the old one, knew i should have stuck 12v up the motors butt, i was going to but then thought whats the point if it doesnt lock, unbelievable!!
Its become a habit just lately, buying items off of the Bay or Amazon that i didnt need in the 1st place. At least it wasnt stupid money and i can put it back on their 0 i spose

PS, anyone need a flap lock actuator, only £30

Thanks for the heads up

Go to Vehicle Communication, select the CEM from the network diagram, expand the CEM list under Parameters.

You will see lot's of data parameters. Select the ones you want to observe, then click Add to List on each one.

The parameter and the current value will then show on the right hand side. This is live data. So as you open and close doors etc. the status will be reflected on the screen.
Brill, thanks for the explanation, much appreciated

You're in the right place, but you have CCM selected - Climate Control Module

You need to select CEM - Central Electronic Module. Just click on CEM in the diagram.

OK, I just had a look. My info was for a 2004 car. Looks like they changed it for facelift cars?

Anyway, I selected a 2006 V70 in VIDA and looks like the values for doors etc are in the REM. So have a look there.

A small update, fuel flap actuator refitted and it does work ok, i checked it the next day and it was locked.

I also checked the inside movement detection by leaving the window fully open and arming, not sure how long i need to wait for that to work, but it deffo does not work straight away, poss fault sensor? Its not ya normal ultrasonic either, it measures the volume of sommat so no ultrasonics on show like you would normally see, its in the roof lining where you would normally see a light, it looks like a blanking plate.

Not looked at the switches in Vida again as yet.
