Default C70 seats interchangeable mk1/mk2

So getting through the list of things to do, and one is the front seats,

i cant find any decent condition mk1 cream leather seats.

i can however find a set for the mk2 apart from the grab handle location for the passenger release, do they fit?

Completely different cars, the only thing they share is the name.

The mounting rails will be different and most probably the biggest issue will be the incompatibility of the airbag and seatbelt operation.
