What value/price for my 1997 S90 Luxury Edition??
Opinions please...What value/price for my 1997 S90 Luxury Edition??
Prices seem to be all over the place right now, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. The basics then, its a 1997, R. Reg, S90 (Luxury Edition) 3.0, Auto, with 138000miles, Part service history (17 stamps). Colour is Blackberry. Interior is Tan. Condition is quite good, will come with a fresh MOT. Ive driven this Volvo less than 400 miles, in over a year!...Im just not using it! I seem to moving in other directions lately, so im going to be selling up all my Volvo related items. You may have seen my "Pegs an Nebs" thread here - - https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=313490 I will also have some spares (in the same Blackberry colour) both door mirrors, 4 doors, a wing, a bonnet, an a boot. All 4 Tan door cards too. Plus some other volvo gear, buried in my garage somewhere??? A couple of recent pics (took yesterday) of my S90. Car was dry in these photos. Thanks in advance. I'd put it between £1500-2k.

Based on your words and pics about it, i'd agree with Mark on the price, you might ask a little more and drop to something in that ball park if necessary.
PS if i win the lottery tonight i might be interested if it's a big enough win!

I stopped doing the lottery over a decade ago...................Once, i came close to winning over £100 000!!! I had 4 balls (an the bonus ball) an missed a ball by 1(as in - if it was 17, i had 18) or some ****e like that...either way, that was my time to win big, an i missed out. So i quit the Lottery right there an then, an havent done it since.............................you gotta be in it to win it! |

Looks gorgeous! Proper shape too 😋
There are a few on ebay for £5000 and upwards and have been on there for ages, I imagine with the spares included I'd say it is worth a smidge over 2 thousand. |

I worked on the live lottery draws for a few years when they were live wednesday and friday evenings (i dont work for camelot i do cameras). We would rehearse the shows a couple of times as live with full ball draws before the live show later on - there was an old story going around that one of the camera guys won the jackpot in a rehearsal! All balls and the bonus! Never found out who it was...
Nice car by the way |

So, did some searching for S90's, an came up with a few.
In my opinion, these examples might be a little better than mine(lower mileage/condition etc)................but then again, they might not?! either way, they all seem to be "big money"??? If they are all better than mine? I dont see them being £3000 to £5000 more superior, than my S90. Note- I am in no way at all, connected to these sellers. There is a difference between what a car is actually worth and what these people advertise them for. I could out my 940 on for 5k but no one would buy it. In fact the turquoise 940cd has been on Ebay for around two years at 4995 !
