XC90 mud flaps.
Hi All, been toying with fitting these since I had my car as I live a little out in the sticks and my car gets flithy on the county roads around here. Had a look in the photo gallary for pictures of XC90's fitted with them but I could only see one with them fitted and you couldn't see them clearly.
My question is, do you think they ruin the look of the XC90? Whilst I know they serve a purpose, I have to think about the pro's and con's. I have the side steps fitted and felt they would do the same but they look great! and are perfect for the kids getting in and out. If anyone has a decent picture with them fitted I would be very grateful. |

I am not a fan of mudflaps however I have them on the XC90 (rural roads) and in my view, the proper Volvo mudflaps improve the look of the car (esp at the rear) - I think the XC looks unfinished without them!

They're a bit pricey though, I've ordered my XC90 with them, to protect the running boards and the side panels from stone chips. Had a Galaxy before which suffered from stone/sand spray damage to the sides from having no mudflaps.
I think the fitted cost was about £130. They have to drill out the rivets of the wheel liners and then re-rivet with the mudflaps in place I think. Still, I think they will look OK. |

I think they look OK, quite subtle to be honest and I don't think they affect the styling. Different alloys and the running boards make a much more noticeable difference to the look of the car imo. They've certainly done their job very well over the winter here.
I think I got mine from Stratstone or eBay and then just fitted them myself when doing the running boards, its a very simple job. |

I've just checked my emails and I was offered front and rears for £50. I've just emailed back to confirm that the price also includes postage and vat. I also asked how much they would sell the for if I purchased 5 sets.
So, if I can get them at the right price, anyone interested in a set? |
