The standard T6 is not a nice engine for me , i have yet to drive one which feels anthing like 272 bhp ... yet the 265 bhp T5 absolutly flies ....
You certainly wouldn't be better with a T5. There is a lot more work involved in that swap since the engine never came in rwd format.

If you already have a 960 with a 3 litre lump, then you have the mounts, sump pan etc in order to bolt the t6 straight in. Either way though, you will be needed at least a new exhaust manifold and turbo is the twin turbos from the s80's don't fit.

It'll be smooth and pretty quick. Not sure you could class it as jet propelled though. lol

The T6 engine isn't that strong from the factory though. You'll be needing to fit internals to get anywhere near their top power levels.

I'm seriously trying to keep the 3ltr to the point where I am considering going all out naturally Asp. Head work, cams, throttle bodies etc and seeing what can be done there. I think it would sound amazing. Only thought now is how strong are the internals? I'm hoping it's a hidden gem where everything is forge steel. Lol... Well you can live in hope can' you?

Lol, b21/B23 yes. Not the straight 6 though.
