availability of panels
hi! i've got a 1970 144 auto which has sat in my garage for the past 5 years after was driving it for 2 years - only 54k miles and runs well - i've just got round to doing it up - i dont think i'll have an issue with mechanicals though would be interested to know availability and interchangeability of brake and suspension components - especially discs and calipers and brake master/servo
Also, the cills are looking 'tired' as are door bottoms and rear wheel arches - but i just cant seem to find anywhere selling body panels and/or repair sections, genuine or pattern - any help appreciated! I must do it as it's on the wifes 'hit list' - and she wont even be seen in it - so more the reason to get it going again! Oh, and you can always ask me 800 and S/V70 Phase 1 and 2 questions in return!! |

These people "Rob & Emma" have been really helpful to me in the past with finding panels for my 262, and they specialise in all the 140/160, P1800, and Amazon cars.

Hi, I can second that Rob and Emma are worth getting in touch with. They have been fantastic in sourcing metal work for my 144 restoration project.
So far I have had off them Drivers Door, both sills, both rear inner and outer wheel arches, and also boot seal channel. Great service and always happy to answer any queries! |
