Default Lack of power

I started my 2.0D V50 (2005) last week and it ran OK but would not accelerate very quickly and would not rev beyond about 2500 revs. I drove home (slowly) and stopped the car, restarted the engine and it was fine. No problems since then. What could cause that?

Limp home mode? Are you sure there were no warning lights of any kind? Any messages?

could be the throttle flap sticking. Do a search in the forum, and you will find a lot of info on this problem.
