Cool pads and discs

Hi, recently changed my pads and discs- easy enough and brakes work well after bedding in.

Only thing is that the brake pedal doesn't feel right, seems a bit spongy.

I've spoke to a mate who says that there is no way that they should need bleeding, and that air will not have got into system. Anyone any idea if bleeding will make any difference?

thanks.

I have recently bought a v40 the brake pedal does seem spongy but if you do an emergency stop it soon pulls up, if i pump the pedal the brakes are no different and the pedal remains the same. im assuming its just the way they are!!

Mine feel a bit 'softer' after a new set of pads and discs.

Perhaps just the new pads bedding in ?
