Default SRS warning

Hi all

Just joined the forum.
I have a 2006 v70 5D, done 114k, just returned from a Europe road trip , did
1500 miles and she drove beautifully.
However one of the arms on the cupholder fell off strangely so when I got back thought I would strip it out and see if a repair was possible which it is'nt so just going to leave it.
Problem is I disconnected the a/c control panell without disconnecting the battery, as a result I now have an srs service warning showing.
Is there anyway of cancelling this or is it a dealer thing.

many thanks

Alan

The section for your model is here: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=19

You're one of many folk who have made the mistake of turning the ignition on with the climate control panel disconnected. There are a number of tools available that can clear the error, but you could see if you could find a forum member in your area with VIDA / Dice who could sort it out for you.

Hi Simon
Sorry my mistake, should have read the header properly,
Good idea asking if any local members could help.
Going to call into local dealers this morning and see if they can help for free, considering I spent £420 last month with then getting it serviced and the ac cleaned out prior to my European trek.
I thought it was a lot at the time but I got one years free volvo assist breakdown cover with every service which is as comprehensive as the AA European cover for which they wanted £190 for one trip, so quite a good deal in the end.
Cheers
Alan

Good news everybody, got my srs warning deleted for £24 at local garage.
Happy days, also checked tracking for free.
