Default Looking for DICE Hardware - Where to Buy? Anyone Selling?

Does anyone have a working used DICE interface / cables for sale?

Where's best to buy them new?

Thanks

It is the software they used years ago. You can read error codes, run diagnostics, change settings, monitor values, look at repair instructions etc.

What you can not do however is to download and install new software. Only dealer can do that.

It is in fact the same as used in the dealers however it is an illegal copyright "doctored to remove the security " copy .
Yes it will work but cannot be on line to volvo of course to do the more advanced things .

I have the box and software myself off ebay As other's, have mentioned it has limitations you cannot update any software on your car and also it only has models till 2014 which I believe was the year that it all went to an online server application via the box and software.
It has some uses you can do things like forced DPF re-generation and battery monitor resets but it depends how much you want to do with it to decide on if to buy it. looking back for me it was probably a bit of waste to purchase it.

So in essence it is a code reader albeit it will do it properly.

I had it in my head that it would be a programme to run via laptop with interface to obd port?

The dpf regen may be of use to me. The C30
I have just got has a dpf (I believe through chassis jumber and directions previously posted by Clan 🙌🏻🙌&#127995 Its the first Ive had anything with a dpf having avoided on purpose but times are changing. And I know almost
didly squat about dpf’s longevity maintenance if any etc.
Would I be able to
do the regen fluid reset etc with it?

Dice is the interface tool and Vida is the software which you run on a laptop.
Both are required.
