Polestar optimisation offer

I don't know if this is countrywide but I note that Snows Volvo Winchester (maybe Southampton too) are are offering Polestar upgrade at £499 if anyone's interested.

Other pre Christmas offers there too.

Just messaged my local dealer and asked if they are doing anything similar.
I dont think they will price match with a dealer some 250 miles away though.
Pity as it is a good price.

Dependant on the price difference 500 miles may be worth it.
Having polestar I would look seriously at it for any price, better if it's a bargain.

Cambridge Garage in Bedhampton are doing a similar deal with Polestar optimisation as a Christmas promotion - I cannot remember the cost but it was less than £500

Does anyone know if any of the North West dealships have this on special offer? I've just rang around a few up here and Rybrook in Warrington and Lookers in Stockport are both £745 which is normal price. The dealers in Bury say they do have it on offer, but it's still £695.

Great find.
I had mine done in November for £575 at Cambridge Garage in Havant.
Did not think the price would come down any further than that.
Dammit!!

I don't know is the simple answer.
On my D5 it made it a far more drivable car. Mine is manual so nothing to do with gearbox changes which benefit the autos. Mid range torque is far better and low down it pulls better without waiting for the turbo lag to pass.
In short it made a good car superb for me. I tow with it and it's a joy to do so.

The annoying bit is that I should not of had to pay £560 to make the car what it should of been out of the factory. Volvo know polestar improves the car, why offer it as an extra and knowingly sell a car that could be better..
