Default Diagnostics Equipment

Hello Volvo Gurus,

Would like to buy a piece of equipment that can let me fully diagnose any issues with my Volvo XC60.

Essentially a piece of kit that would plug into the OBD2 connector on the car and then into my laptop and give me all the info I would require to troubleshoot faults and let me manage my own car instead of the fiends at my local Volvo dealership.

Can anyone recommend a suitable device?

Cheers,

Paul

Only tool you can buy to 'fully' diagnose is Vida from Volvo (though people do sell ripped off copies)

2014 isn't the absolute cut off for compatibility.

Just curious what options there are then for the DIY owner of the later Xc60s who wants diagnostic equipment if Vida isn't an option? Is there some other equipment and software you can get ?
