Default about time

i haven't been on this web site for months but when i did i found that they had added a performance section for volvo tuning, ABOUT TIME. i own a 340 1.7 which i have injected with a 480 system and loads of over stuff current power around 110 hp, i will be adding a turbo over the close season when the engine gets rebuilt again.
my website is www.higgins340.fsnet.co.uk, allthough it hasn't been updated for about a year now. i was hoping to go to the castle coombe event, but on the way back from the goodwood sprint i spun the car on the m23 into the barrier on standing water so its written off now. I am in the process of stripping down another 340 and transferring everything across, engine suspension, seats and body kit. if anyone wants details of mods or part numbers then drop me an e-mail.

Mate, this section has been around for a lot longer than a few months. Nice car you've got.

WooHoo! Finally I am not the only 300 series owner on the PCS!!

Not that mine's modified at all...but performance is a state of mind as much as anything, right?

As I said in the other post, get Kevin S on here - show these T5 girls a proper car :) (ducks punches thrown in his direction!)

cheers

James

ps: George - if you ever want to part with the TIC, I'll have it for the engine...which will find its way into my 360...}>

Yeah, thanks - I posted back in that forum (or reckoned to!)

Just after posting, I went back, and my limited electronics knowledge was screaming 'grounding' at me, so I checked that (plus the fact that the side lights worked with no ground!), and it proved to be the case, and your posts confirmed my suspicions!

Am working on the bodywork at the moment, but am finding it very hard to find a half decent rust proof primer! The garage man uses some stuff called 'Zinc Oxide Anti-rust Paint', which I thinkis made by Hammerite, but no-one stocks it!!! Grr!

I am going to hammerite the whole lower section of the car (when it needs doing), as I dont really care how it looks, spray-can paint is usually suitibly awful - particularly in metallic colours, and the hammerite wont show the cosmetic rust so badly....or at least not as quickly :)

cheers

James

Not too clever on bodywork, but does Kurust do any good, followed by normal grey primer?
