So what about the systems fitted by LPG Future Ltd of Wokingham which are:

Mint, Romano and Ultragas

Cheers guys

The Mint/Ultragas is heading towards the cheapest of the cheap and I am aware of a lot of problems with the copy vapourisers in those systems. The electronics are good but the hardware is not so good.

Romano shares the same electronics but with a different badge. No idea what the latest vapourisers and injectors are like but the older ones were rubbish with high levels of injector failure. The vapourisers had poor flow and very unstable pressure to the point AEB for the romano ecu's had to set the injectors to bleed gas in on over run to stop the line from over pressurising then causing too much pressure for injectors to open. 10-5 years ago I used to see lots of Romano systems in for repair but these days the only Romano installs I see are ones done 5+ years ago probably because there are a lot less of them fitted. I've seen a few ultragas systems that have failed romano injectors from more recent years but not massive numbers.

So in other words neither of my two nearest recommended suppliers fit the best systems?

Sigh....

Cheers all

Of the choices you have I would opt for a Prins system if that is all that is available. The ECU is not the most compatible with the older Volvo's but they have been done and can be made to work.

The "Best system" will vary from car to car and each component available has its pros and cons

Booked in next Monday for BRC system with Oxford Autogas, £1200 plus vat. They don't recommend the PRINS as they said parts can be hard to get hold of
