Hi just a newbee can i find a 'spline drive kit' for sale online from somewhere i have nearly given up searching for this elusive beasty

Last time i got one from volvo they were about £130

Agreed Clan.

For something as labour intensive as this job I would only ever use genuine parts.

I doubt very much if pattern parts are available but as I say, you don't want to be doing this job twice so get the kit from a Volvo dealer.
