Essex & Suffolk / OC - MAY meeting.
Oh dear, oh dear, pish and wibble, looks like this thread got lost in the N/W backups - more inconvenience with the new hosting service, tish tish.
Still "certain people" on "another forum" are taking great pleasure in our problems and as usual infantile conspiracy theories rule - at least we are making some people happy - a great comfort in times of trouble. Old fart grump over, I'd better re-post. Yes I know it's a bit premature, but plan ahead and all that:- On the 9th.May the OC regulars and the Essex & Suffolk section are forsaking their beloved truck stop in favour of a meet being hosted by Lookers of Colchester at their Cowdray Avenue premises. Lookers postcode is CO1 1XX but for dinosaurs I have attached a map. The dealership will be open from 11.00 and are arranging for Sales, Service and Parts departments to be open and apart from meeting dealer staff "socially" they will be offering test drives, and visual "health checks" on members vehicles - a chance to see how dirty your car gets underneath. A technician will be on hand to answer your questions (not sure if he knows that yet!). Lookers will also very kindly be providing refreshments, and are putting some effort into this so lets have a good turn out and nake this a really good day!!. If you are likely to make this either "post" or let David Barker (sect.sec.) know so that by nearer the day we can have an idea of numbers. Mollusk. |
