1988 740GL 2.0 Low Mileage

Hi,

I agree, it's lovely and a pity as I am just about purchase an equally lovely 744.

However, a friend has got the 7 series bug and he might be interested...don't want to raise hopes though, could you pm me if car still available after this coming weekend - he's not around until then?

I would have last year, but it seems I've just bought an equally excellent condition merc of the same vintage... there were bugger all 740's around before Xmas...

I didn't get a full interior set of pictures for everyone to see..so today, i shall change that! Its either the well built and rugged nature of materials volvo used to use for their cars, or how well it has been looked after, Theres also two volvo mats up front in each footwell, i've fitted an original radio, (no doubt it wont be anybodies favourite part of the car) I fitted it in place of the horrid ford fiesta cd player that the previous owner had botched in there....he cut a load of wires, leaving me the task of routing what wire went to which speaker...

Everything works, as it should, the heaters a..ermmm blast! haha red hot, and cold air as required etc.. Steering wheel is straight and it hold a straight line out on the road etc.

Thanks, theres actually a few people interested in this car already, looking back, i didnt take any pictures of the interior, so i thought i'd add some more. If i were a buyer, i'd like to see a good selection of piccies of what i'd be considering to purchase :-)
