S90 Executive.... FOR SALE....!!!!!

1998(R) Volvo S90 Executive Level 2

MOT’d until 14th MAY 2014 with 224,800 miles on the clock, and no reason why it shouldn’t do another 224,500

V5 is present… currently SORN

This is the real thing, not just a Long Wheel Base, but the 4 seat level 2 interior

In the past 6 months this car has had:

Head Gasket replaced by an ex Volvo specialist technician
Timing Cam Belt, Water Pump & Idler Pulley
NTA Catalytic Converter
Genuine Volvo Fuel Pumper/Sender Unit
Full service with air, oil & fuel filters, oil and coolant changed
Brand new radiator
Genuine Volvo 3 part handbrake cables
New Front Brake Pads and the Brake Calipers overhauled

The car is 15 years old so the paintwork will not be perfect but it is still very presentable.., the front and rear bumpers have been repainted so are in very good order, the front splitter got scraped on the mother of all speed bumps… damn you Derby City Council…!

The door cards are in very good order, 1 rear door card is now showing the first signs of wrinkling which seems to be common on the 960/S90/V90

Head light wash/wiper work perfectly

The front Climate Control has been re-gassed with R132a Super and blows ICE COLD, the rear is normal Air-con which works perfectly

The rear leather seats are electrically adjustable and heated; they show the usual signs of normal wear for a car of this age

The rear window Sunblind is electrically operated from either the drivers’ position or the rear seating and works perfectly

Both front seats are leather & are electrically adjustable; the drivers’ seat has 3 position memory setting, the drivers’ seat is showing signs of normal wear for a 225,000 mile car, the passenger seat has a ring mark but will easily restore.

The Straight Six cylinder 3.0 24v B6304S engine runs very smooth, it starts first time in all weather conditions, the engine has no visible oil or water leaks, Coupled to the 5 speed auto box which changes gear very smoothly, and kicks down as it should. I would recommend that the ATF is Flushed and changed soon as it is starting to look a little discoloured.

The car was used every day until I parked it up on April 20th and has been a very reliable car, it never missed a beat.

History:
This car was first registered in 17th March 1998 and classified as registered outside of the UK. It was purchased in the UK by the Spanish government which is why it is classed as an ‘import’. It was used solely in the UK for official Spanish Embassy Diplomatic duties. The car was then decommissioned from official duties and given a UK registration on 31st of December 1999 has had 4 previous owners when I purchased it on 20th January 2006.

I will include 2 extra wheels, and a number of surplus parts which include an entire fuel injection manifold, numerous engine management sensors, starter motor etc.

It is currently parked in my private car park at the rear of my apartment block so space is not a problem, I am not desperate to sell this car so I will not be considering any daft offers of £700… I will be looking around £2500 - £3000 for it…

BTW the car's delicious and due to its rarity is undoubtably worth over a 'normal' S90, I hope you find an interested buyer.

on the right is the Rear Compartment Air Con, in the middle is the Cool Box/drinks cooler behind the arm rest between the rear seat, on the left is the radio amp... and the fuse box for all the Executive extras in the back, like power seats, electric sun blind and over head lights in the Alcantara roof lining etc... and all factory fitted at the Volvo SV Plant...
