Hi folks,
With winter here and plenty of cold starts, perhaps it's time to consider changing the oil that you use in your car. Does your antifreeze need changing? Is your gearshift okay when cold? Do you need something to protect your car from the weather? Let us know if you need any advice, we are here to help. You can call us on 01209 202944, email us at sales@opieoils.co.uk, or just ask here. Cheers oilman

Hi Moe
The D5 wants a 3309 spec ATF and the petrol takes a Dexron IIIG. These two are fine for the D5 and it takes 7.2L from empty. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-60163-**...nese-cars.aspx http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-69402-mo...ion-fluid.aspx This is the only one that we have that I'd recommend for the petrol and it takes 7.6L from empty. http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-889-motu...g-systems.aspx I can't say how much you'll need for a service change with those as you won't be able to empty the torque converter. I guess about 4L for each of them would be a sensible figure. You can use the discount code VOLVO for 10% off the site prices. Cheers Tim **Just realised that the link to the ***hs ATF 4400 isn't working because of the swear filter. Go onto our site and put 4400 in the search bar, that will take you to it**

What oil do you recommend for my V70 T6 AWD, on a 58 plate. The sticker under the bonnet says 0W-30, but in your opinion which is the best performing make, and would you include an additive such as slick50. Ive used this on all my other vehicles, and just forked out >£20 for a 750ml bottle of the performance stuff for this car. The only thing thats stopping me put it in, is some of the -Ve comments on here and other volvo forums ( saying it can actually be bad for your engine, rather than help the life-span and decrease wear etc ).. .... Any pointers or info would be fab. Cheers Steve . |

volvo actualy forbid any oil additives , they must have their reasons .. they take oil samples if an engine has a fault in warranty .
The only oil for your T6 is 0w/30 A5/B5 ...
