Have made a start on the OS rear quarter. First cutting out rusty bits and previous boogers and so far welded in the new inner arch, couple of wee repairs, new front outer arch plug welded in place and rear outer arch ready to be welded. The outer arch repairs are for a sedan and not the best pressings so take a fair bit of fettling to get reasonable.

Welded up the arch, happy how it turned out and some finishing still to be done.

Back on the Amazon‘s rusty bits. Need to crack on, did some work on the OS rear bottom corner.

Got a set of GT recliners, gave one a polish tonight to see how it would come up. They will need rechroming so will pack them away for now and see how I feel about them when reassembling the car.

I've got a set that are even worse than that, don't have the bars but not sure they are needed. I was considering getting them stove enamelled black. Talked to a 123GT owner who had his chromed and rebuilt and the bill was £500!!!!. They are complex to rebuild but I have a set of pictures of them in pieces.
I have a very decent set on my Estate and the ability to change the angle for long trips is good to have. Not tried them as sleep option.

Dec by any chance Derek? He told me £400 to get them rechromed but it’s going to be in that region for sure if you can actually find someone to do it. A big mother of a spring inside is the issue. Could get exciting taking them apart. Apart from the chrome they are in good condition. Got them for a fair price so could sell them later if I don’t want them or if a better set turns up in the meantime.

Bit of time today, got the lower corner all tacked together. There was a bit of tension in the panel so took a little effort to get it back correct for the repair sections.
