x40 Roof Bars or V40 Roof Rails

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to the forum, although I have used several threads for reference and useful info for a while now.

I'm looking for a set of x40 Roof Bars to fit my '01 V40 1.8 S which does not have rails fitted.

Alternatively, I'd be interested in a set of Roof Rails to fit, as I still have the Mont Blanc crossbars from my old Octavia.

I'm in the Southampton area and would be willing to collect within a reasonable range, or arrange for courier/delivery.

I've left it a bit late, but I need to sort before we're off on holiday on 19th August!

Hi Martin,
I have a set of the factory roof rails on a v40 I will shortly be scrapping due to the oil cooler blowing, if you are still after a set make me an offer ( All other bits available if you need anything else)

Unfortunately I am in Nantwich Cheshire, so it would have to be a carrier unless you know of anyone who comes up this way, I can link up on the M6 if that helps.

Thanks for your thread response (and apologies for the slow reply!). I can't send you a PM direct as I haven't hit the 30 post limit yet!

The factory rails would be perfect, although I don't think I'll be able to get up near you before we go away.

Would you accept £65 for the rails?

Would you also be able to give the rough dimension and weight of the rails together, and I will see how much the courrier will cost.

Hi, if that doesn't work out I've got a set of roof bars to fit a non-roof rail V40 here - I'm in North Dorset.
