Default Self locking

I used to think my key fob was extra touchy feely when in my pocket, locking the car.....
I noticed the car auto locked even with my keys out of my pocket so got in the habit of making sure I never left them inside with everything closed up.
Today whilst doing other jobs I put my keys on the roof above the drivers seat.
3 times the car auto locked after 30 secs of being there!
I then put the keys at the rear of the roof, nothing happened.
Anyone else?

To my knowledge they should only auto lock if you unlock the car and do not open any doors, after a few minutes

Bonnet open, tailgate open!

Another weird thing: I'm streaming radio from the house on WiFi, when I plug in my OBDII reader and reading live data from the car.....my phone stops streaming, unplug the OBDII reader, back on comes the streaming!

The bonnet may have had the microswitch bypassed on its lock to avoid the nuisance of the immobiliser not working due to a faulty switch (admittedly I did this with mine) which would cause it to auto lock but as for the tailgate that's unusual!
