If you had spent the money you had on looking after it and getting it running properly to start with rather than spending it on chav lights and underbonnet tat you would have something that was now worth more than 1400 quid or whatever it was you sold it for.
No doubt you would also have had enough money in the pot now to sort the gearbox out.
I dont see how selling your T5R to buy another T5 when you have no money to run one (your words) is going to work when its obvious that T5's are not the cheapest car to run and your not prepared to get your hands dirty apart from sticking shiny stuff under the bonnet.

if you had read other posts from me on here you would no that i have reaplaced nearly everything i could on the car for new. thats why it was so gutting when the gearbox went. also you would have read that i did have the money for the gearbox repair but sods law had to pay for the family dog to have an emergancey op so took the rest of my car fund.

and tbh i have totaly lost all respect for the car after all the crap that needed replacing and the gearbox was the final straw. i am looking forward to a fresh new project.
and with all the mods i am keeping from it and the gearbox i bought i am getting more that £1400 out of this.
