Looks hazed to me; similar to exterior paint haze.

Glad you got them off - I too use AG Fast Glass on my black trim, very good.

Be careful though, AG Fast Glass is also for multimedia screens and i use this on Sensus screen, BUT not all Glass cleaners are suitable for multimedia screens.
For example, Meguiars Glass cleaner is NOT for multimedia screens.

I also use Meguiars Ultimate Interior Detailer for Multimedia screens.
Its recommended.

Thanks, I have a good stash of detailing products and stick to the brands I know and trust.

I have managed to remove light scratches from piano black trim with Autoglym Super resin polish applied very very sparingly and carefully on a microfibre cloth but being hyper careful NOT to get any on the Sensus screen.
