I can resist most things except temptation Steve and i get the idea you're similar and that 145 was temptation in sheet steel.

However i suspect it would have been fraught with problems, not least of which would have been repatriating it to east Suffolk.

Yes, you expect a few problems with a used car, especially a 50+ year old one but no sense deliberately adding to them by buying one from another country!

PS - must not be so pessimistic, just seen this motor on FB Marketplace and video of it going round L’Arc so fair play.👍

Can someone remind me what is actually up with this one? Looks a bit rough or has someone looked more close. I’m quite close and am tempted to go have a butchers

Well I’m even closer to this than you, but I seem to recall this cropping up months ago, and if I think the main worry at the time was what the quick basic re spray was covering.

If you’ve got time, then it’s really not that bad down here in Suffolk 😀,
