Volvo s40 1998 healights replacement
Okay guys yesterday i went out to the scrapyard and picked the headlights of a volvo s40 2001, i didnt like my ones because they are too old, so i fit the new headlights to my 1998 volvo and now when i am on low beams they are perfect when iswitch on to highbeam they become weaker as if there is not enough power for both of them .
On my volvo the headlight only has one bulb both for high and low beam, the new one has two separate bulbs one for high one for low beam Has anyone tried to do this and what is the solution to this problem. Do i need to put a new headlight relay? If something ins not clear please ask ? Thank you! Last edited by martin213; Jun 23rd, 2012 at 01:53. |

I am guessing you have just fitted phase 2 headlights to a phase 1 car, I think there is a bit of adapting of the phase 1 loom to make the phase 2 headlights work correctly, im sure there will be someone who will come along in a sec to give you exactly what you need to know, I have a phase 2 car but im just saying what I have heard on the forum
