Default 2012 v50 dpf?

Hi all, I am trying without success to find out if my 2012, V50 SE LUXE 1.6 drivE has a DPF. It's the 99GKM free road tax model.

Someone on google said that the 8th character in the VIN tells you which Euro version it is but it is the letter 'F' which tells me nothing.
1st reg is May 5th 2012.
thanks.

Dear Tom, it will have a DPF.

Does your engine look like the one on the right?

Hi Pete, yes the one on the right. Does 'non serviceable' mean that it has to be replaced after an interval of 'x' miles?

thanks, Tom.

No "non-serviceable" means it doesn't need changing and should last the lifetime of the car.

The older 1.6D has a "serviceable" DPF which needs changing every 75k with additive tank top ups at 35K
