Volvo S40 key blade cut?

Hello all,

By strangest perfect storm of pocket mishap, I managed to lose a key blade from my key fob. Can you recommend any 3rd party shops? Do the replacement blades fit original key fobs nicely? What sort of prices am I looking at, indie vs. dealership? Please, share your experience. Thank you for your help in advance.

I assume you mean the blade that fits inside the fob. Ask at Timpsons or the like. These maybe peculiar size to Volvo only and then dealer only job, can't see it being a fortune if it is that blade you're talking about.

I was able to find blanks on the big auction site for us$10... cost me ~$35 for a locksmith to cut it for me
