The quality is really good.. was looking at the copies on ebay but they are not a patch on this one.

The only thing that was not included was the nuts & bolts to hold it to the radiator.

Finally got to grips with the old style power steering pump on my '97/8 V70 CD T5 Auto which was making atrocious noises when you merely touched the steering wheel and had resulted in the car being laid up for the past few months whilst I built up an interest to fix it!!. The quality of the fluid in the reservoir was indescribable!!

Put the front up on axle stands and completely drained/bled the whole system at the disconnected low pressure outlet/reservoir return pipe at the rack and replenished until clear ATF eventually came out.

After bleeding out the old it took just over 1 ltr of new Liqui Moly 1200 ATF to do the job and pleased to say that the power steering pump is now silent when turning the steering wheel.

Spent today sorting out/rearranging best possible insurances for running my 745 and the V70 ... now that's not a straight forward task and needs more skill than fixing the power steering!!!!

Cheers, Bob

Replaced the broken odometer gear today. The mileage is now counting again.

Grab the Xiaotec 850 OBD-II and a suitable OBD-II reader. You'll be able to see what the correct mileage is, so you can correct the odometer if you want.

I replaced inner and outer CV boot on o/s axle, control arm bushes, and fixed my seized rear wiper (spindle was jammed in the bore if casting due to corrosion buildup)..

Already have it along with a suitable reader, but there doesn't appear to be an option to view mileage on it.

Should be under Electrical > Combi > Program Combi, then Read Combi. So scanning your Combi ECU with the app should bring it up. You may need to pull the huge long data log out to find it, you're looking for the B9nn reading.

Huge thread on it can be found here.

Found it. It's about 700 miles out, probably as a result of the ABS module issue that the previous owner had.
