Are you using the below? It needs a good signal to make that 1st connection, if no success try again as occasionally I get no success 1st time around.

I have developed another shorter process to reconnect the modem without the need to manually type any inputs, the basic procedure is:
Within menu option of Network/Mobile Data
1. Deselect Automatically detect
2. Remove the 3 below input fields by deleting & confirmation
3. Select Automatically detect back to ticked

Then when you exit the menu should see the globe symbol instantly appear in the very top left corner of the Sensus screen to confirm its back on again......
Using this workaround - is your car reachable bij the VOC app when parked?

Always........but remember that VOC uses it's own built in modem with its own internal Global Sim that uses what ever network it can access at that location.

Thanks for the reply. I am using this workaround, but the 3 input fields are empty for me. I deselect "Automatically detect" and select it back but nothing really happens.

Do you have any signal on your phone in the same location?

Try to find your APN data settings from your sim provider and set it manually.

In most cases the first box is something simple like "internet" or "wap" and the other two are blank.

(By the way are you also Greek. I know another S Kavvadias but he is based in Qatar)

Thanks for the tip. I tried that as well, but still nothing. I will check later in another location just in case i need stronger signal, but i doubt that it will work unfortunately.

Indeed I am Greek, but no relationship with Qatar.

Are we sure as some features of VOC have now all of a sudden become hit and miss for me, couldn't lock vehicle or set parking climate earlier today, just kept loading for ages then timing out.

If you install your own SIM, VOC is routed through that. From manual:
When the car is connected to the Internet via the
car modem, Volvo On Call services will use this
connection.

Ah so whilst I have the SIM in the slot and the car has this issue, its going to make VOC hit and miss.

Not cool.

Any updates on a fix from Volvo or are we still in the same spot?

Have reported it to my dealer too.
