Sorry to read about your accident.

I'm really desperate to get my hands on a beige handle release shroud on the inside of the tailgate. Its the bit behind the pull handle in the centre of the tailgate and is fixed by 2 self tapping screws.

Will pay good money including postage.

Perhaps you could give me a call on 07776457728.

Thanks

Stuart

Default Ball stud

Sounds silly I know but i've been quoted 3-5 weeks delivery time for a thingy called a ball stud that screws into the door pillar of my GLT estate tailgate and holds the brass thingy on the end of the gas strut. Not very technical but I'll be on the M25 on Sunday. Any chance of calling round and having a go at removing it?

Default Parts Request

Hello,

Could I have the following please if they are still available -

1. Both front door pockets
2. The handbrake surround
3. Tailgate (if the bottom is OK)
4. Headlight reflectors if they survived intact

Also, is there is a 3rd rear seat conversion ?

Thanks,

Simon

p.s. you can email me directly on simoncordery@btinternet.com

OK, sorry for being away a bit, I've been collecting my new car and fettling it a bit, it has a tan interior so most of the interior inc. handbrake console and door pockets are beng kept as spares. I'm keeping all the black trim that survived too as I hate the chrome - if anybody has a set of side strips or bumper trims in black I'm up for buying it.

So here's some replies to everyon's requests, hope I've got you all!

240 - £25 posted for 4 headrest cushions and an owners manual - I have an 88 and an 89 manual.

Mark1stu - £5 posted for the tailgate release trim

Wilmot - I can't justify charging for what amounts to a bolt, give me your address and I'll put on in an envelope for you.

Magicbusdriver - headlight reflectors aren't any good, the tailgate is usable, only a few spots of surface rust, no holes in it. However, the paint's pretty worn on it and it has 2 medium-sized dents in it. The pictures make it look better than it is. £20 if you still want it, mostly because removal is a pain in the behind. If you're looking for a 3rd seat kit, I was offered one in tan by 'Volvo Paul' on these forums about a month ago, he may well stil have it.

Tessie - tailgate lights are available, not the best ones in the world but they both work and are whole, though the foam seals are perished. £10 posted for the pair.

chester - £5 posted for the tailgate striker plate/lock pin /whatever comes off

jmx6- mirrors are electric but not heated, I think the plug is different between heated and non heated mirrors though - these mirrors have a round 4-pin plug for the electrics. let me know if you're still interested.

I think it's the heater that's gone in mine, so your's wouldn't be any improvement - thanks for the quick reply.
