V70 Running Rough (Upside down Y fault light on) (Fuel/Ignition)

Hi guys, don't know if anyone has had this dash light on and the car running rough at idle. The exhaust note is also uneven so i'm assuming it's missing aswell. Have been at the dealer this morning (Murray Edinburgh)but the light wasn't on and the OBD didn't record any faults. The technician advised cleaning the throttle body housing. But this has made no difference obviously i'll have to go back and get the fault read but has anyone experienced this before ?????????

You need to pull the fault codes now the light is on. It could be faulty MAF sensor, lambda sensor etc
Check all your inlet and vacume hoses are secure and not split.

Hi,

I don't want to sound to pessamistic, but it could be that the throttle body needs replacing, or like Simon said in his post one of the other parts. This is a common fault on our cars, and I'm afraid it isn't cheap to replace either. Lets us know how youget on.
