Default The Car won´t accelerate properly

Hello!

I have Volvo 850 2.5 TD automatic and there is some problem, nobody knows what can it be.

The lambda light is burning now and then and sometimes the car wont accelerate properly. Even if i put the gaspedal to the bottom car accelerates wery slowly.
We have already chanced used airpressuregauge and cleaned the connectors, but always after few days the Lambda light lights again and the fault comes back again. The fault is not on all the time. Sometimes car accelerates normally.

hi
have you had the codes read and what are they. if you go to onboarddiagnostic web site you can down load a free scan programme to you lap top you will need a cable to link it with the car which are not expensive your laptop needs a serial port. read the codes and get back
regards
mike

Hi, and thanks for your answer.
Yes i was at the repairshop and the computer always says, that the airpressuregauge is broken.
We chanced new used gauge to the car, but it didn´t help.
Is there any way we could measure, that is this new gauge broken also before i go and buy a new one?
it accelerates fine to about 40km/h but after that it accelerates wery poor.
Sometimes after i have accelerated a long time and i go about 100km/h it suddenly accelerates wery fast, but it is only sometimes)

Did this fault start after a cambelt change?

If so have the dynamic fuel pump timing checked.

This thread may help with checking the air flow sensor output. Read the live data while manually operating the air flow sensor.
