Along with the Volvo spider in the wing mirror I'm sure mine has a family of Volvo mice fitted, various squeaks and rattles from the trim all over the car. The one I haven't had recently is the almighty cracking sound as the dash warms up on a freezing cold morning, I know what it is but it still makes me jump.

The magnitude of rattle/creaks/knocks/bangs/farts only intensifies if the previous owner fitted 200 quid ebay coilovers... Mine sounds like you’ve emptied your socket set into a top loader washing machine and pushed it down a flight of stairs..

Broken dash mounts. Mine does that same, sounds horrific, and makes the think its going to drop in my lap.

I thought the windscreen had broken the first time it happened in the dark
